Charging in Austria & abroad

In principle, you can use any public charging station that has a Type 2 plug connection. To start charging, take the charging cable out of the trunk. Connect the cable to the car and the charging station and hold the oval caruso charging chip to the station. Please check that the car is actually charging.

Note: All vehicles except the Renault ZOE and Renault Kangoo have a CCS connection and therefore have a fast charging function.

Vorarlberg vehicles

The tariff only includes charging at public charging stations operated by vlotte and its partners. You can find a map with all vlotte charging stations at https://vlotte-portal.vkw.at.

If you charge at a “third-party provider”, you must take care of the process yourself. The costs are not covered by us. For charging abroad, we recommend the provider ENBW - they cover many charging stations in Europe (please search for charging stations for the route in advance). Alternatively, you can charge almost anywhere with a credit card.

Salzburg vehicles

Salzburg vehicles can charge publicly with the charging chip in Salzburg and the surrounding area.

Once the vehicle is fully charged, it must be removed from the public charging station or the associated parking space immediately. If this is not done and additional costs are incurred as a result (e.g. blocking fees), we reserve the right to pass these costs on to the customer.

Please only go public charging if it is absolutely necessary. Unnecessary charging processes at public charging stations will be charged to the customer.

Each caruso location has its own charging station reserved for caruso. After each reservation, the vehicle must be reconnected there and the charging process started with the caruso charging chip (oval).
